    The Boldre Club

    9pm

The Boldre Club, Pilley St, Lymington SO41 5QP

    Free entry

It were a year ago, almost to the day that we pulled up at the Boldre Club..... It was our first time at this notorious working men's club hidden in a mysterious corner of the New Forest and we still had the ominous warnings of other bands who had played there ringing in our ears.

'It's mental there' they said, 'Even you lot can't take on the Boldre Club' they said, 'Stick to the road lads, don't go on the moor' they said.

We went in anyway.... and it was all these things and more!  T'were truly a king of cider swilling, barefoot stomping, cousin-touching nights.  They've asked us back again this year and even offered to put us up for the night in The Wicker Man, which is probably the local gastropub, innum.

    What could possibly go wrong?

    Chaplins Cellar Bar, Bournemouth

    9pm

Chaplins & The Cellar Bar, 529 Christchurch Road, Bournemouth. BH1 4AG

Free entry before 10pm, £3 after

We're very pleased to be heading back to the south coast to play one of the best small venues in the business - Chaplins & The Cellar Bar in Boscombe. Imagine a 19th century Parisian gentleman's club, frequented by the characters from Mos Eisley Cantina, and you're on the right track...

This gig is brought to you once again courtesy of our kind sponsors Dorset Sunshine Cider. Last year we broke the bar's record for cider sales in one night, and we are aiming to smash that again tonight!

Every gig we have played here has been an absolute cracker with a mad-for-it crowd and lashings of booze, so if that sounds like your kind of thing then come and join the craziness...

The Old Bank, 20 High street, Keynsham, Bristol BS31 1DQ

If you were at the Old Bank cider festival last year, you'll know that it was an apple-fuelled rip-roaring success, so we've decided to do it again.  The exact details have yet be worked out over a couple of pints of  Lilley's Gladiator, but the festy will kick off about lunchtime, we'll get set up and start playing at 4, by which time the inexperienced cider drinker will have caned two pints of 8% scrump and started having visions and speaking in tongues. Meanwhile the rest of us will sing a few songs, have a few laughs and get off with our cousins. Good times!

    Tolpuddle Martyrs Festival

    5pm

The Unite the Union tent, Tolpuddle Martyrs Festival, Tolpuddle, Dorset DT7 4EH

Right then. After five years on the trot of poncing about in front of the Unite tent at Tolpuddle Festival, we took a break in 2018.  As usual, Rat Black and Tatty went to the festival as punters but so many people stopped and asked them why we weren't playing that we thought we better get back up there for 2019.  You know how the works - we set up outside the actual festival gate, just in front of the Unite the Union tent at 2pm and everyone piles out onto the hill where we glug down some cider in the sunshine and take the piss out of the Tories. Given the total shambles that has been going on in that Lon-Don over the last six months, we should have plenty of material....
