Simply brilliant – bring the family and enjoy cidermaking and rural crafts at their finest… \nJoin us for our annual New Forest Cider Festival at the farm in Burley on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 October 2026  \nA traditional cider festival weekend\, with vintage cider making\, craft demos\, live music\, food\, and a Saturday night Party in the Barn. \nSkimmity Hitchers playing 3 sets per day between midday and 5pm\, plus James Harriman and Eva Grant. \nOur cider festival is a relaxed\, traditional autumn weekend celebrating cider making as it used to be done\, with our collection of vintage presses in action\, country craft demonstrations\, live entertainment\, food\, cider and plenty of New Forest character. \nCome for a few hours\, stay for the Saturday night party\, or make a weekend of it. \nDuring the weekend you can enjoy: \n-Traditional cider making using our collection of vintage cider presses\n-Country crafts and demonstrations\n-Live music and entertainment\n-Our annual cider competition\, judged by public vote\n-Food and drink\n-New Forest Cider from the farm\n-Free tractor & trailer rides between Burley village and the festival\n-Saturday night Cider Harvest Party / Party in the Barn\n-A friendly\, informal festival atmosphere for all ages \nChildren aged 14 and under are FREE during the daytime festival when accompanied by an adult.

Book in advance to save £££s. \nThe day begins with folk tales from Martin Maudsley\, followed by a programme of talks and demonstrations exploring the rich diversity of British apples and pears. We’re delighted to welcome renowned apple experts Liz Copas\, James Crowden and John Whittick\, alongside Parnham’s own Mark Rogers\, who will be sharing their knowledge of heritage varieties\, orcharding traditions and growing techniques. \nHave a mystery apple tree in your garden?
